Petrofuture London

I actually made this one about a year ago. I keep coming back to tweak details that very few people will ever notice.

I’m finally going to call it done…for now. The London Petrofuture is one of my favorites so far. The graphics, the gently faded yellowness… it has a very 50’s charm.

This shows 66m of sea level rise on top of a vintage Esso gas station map base.

The Petrofuture Series is a work of parody. I have added a depiction of 66m of sea level rise to the existing gas station road maps.

All sea level rise depicted in these maps is based on estimates by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
