Australia is getting a lot of attention these days. Record heat, bush fires, catastrophic floods…all exacerbated by the anthropogenic climate change their right-wing government is denying.
I was encouraged by some Australian friends who thought it would be a good time for me to make this series, so I thought I’d turn my attention to their country. This new series will map some of the major cities…Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and…?
Because my focus is on the cities, there are wide stretches of coastline that I’ll be missing in my detailed work. I’m trying to make up for some of that by creating an overview; so here is the sea rise map for all of Australia.
